The Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) is a dynamic rainfall-runoff simulation model. It was introduced by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

It is used for single event or long-term (continuous) simulation of runoff quantity and quality from primarily urban areas.

The runoff component operates on a collection of subcatchment areas that receive precipitation and generate runoff and pollutant loads. The routing portion transports this runoff through a system of pipes, channels, storage/treatment devices, pumps, and regulators. During each simulation, the quantity and quality of runoff generated within each subcatchment is tracked. The same is done for the flow rate, flow depth, and quality of water in each pipe and channel.

SWmmCAD Input for AutoCAD® imports models created with PCSwmm quickly. Elements that are imported include:

Elevations
Slopes
Pipes
Sewers
Flow rate
Flow depth

There is no need to create or manage layers, choose colors and linetypes. SWmmCAD Input for AutoCAD® takes care of these details for you.

SWmmCAD Input for AutoCAD® uses hatches to indicate the various subcatchment areas. It specifies the total surface and number the subcatchment areas. The information is derived from the models built using PCSwmm.

I want to import storm water management models

SWmmCAD Input for AutoCAD® supports the INP, MAP and RTP file formats. These files contains all the information on subcatchment areas.

I need a tool in my language

SWmmCAD Input for AutoCAD® also comes with a sample LPK (Language Pack) file. It is a simple text file that can be edited with NotePAD or any other text file editor. Without the file, SWmmCAD interface is in English. You can translate it at your ease.

My project needs the work to be done differently

Licenses

The licenses are locked on a username. At the moment of purchase, you will be contacted by a sales representative. You will have to provide Windows® login / username of the users. The representative will in turn provide you with a license file that you will have to copy into SWmmCAD Input installation folder.

The license file is text editable. It is possible to copy multiple license keys into the same file if the workstation is shared among users.
